Absolutely gorgeous bike unique and solid, customer service absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend for a bicycle.

Beautiful Gingersnap bike bought for our daughters 3rd birthday. Not used it much yet, but upon building we did note that the yellow paint was a bit thin in places? Obviously our daughter was delighted regardless!

I have a lovely Bobbin Fold bicycle, that I received in December 2020. It's a lovely looking bike, and I get compliments of 'I love your bike!!' whenever I have used it, and yes indeed it is very photogenic.
I haven't used it since one of the the pedals fell off however. My boyfriend managed to re attach it, and made a general comment about the pedal being steel, but the crank is soft alluminium. Despite checking it over, the last thing I need is a pedal falling off when I am a couple of miles from home.
The Bobbin Fold, as I said, is a lovely looking bike, and it pains me to say that it's not fit for my commute. I cycle 5 miles to work in the morning to keep me off public transport, and it can't handle the varied road surfaces I encounter on my journey, and I don't feel safe on the couple of downhill sections that I encounter on my commute.
It's a different kind of fitness cycling a Fold bike, and I am afraid that arriving to work absolutely shattered from my cycle is not ideal.
I bought the bike to store easily at work, and it definitely ticks all the boxes for that in terms of being able to carry it upstairs to my therapy room.
I bought it as a commuting bike, but in my opinion, it's more suited to a leisure ride along a beach front and nothing further than 2 miles.
I may put it up for sale, and the search for my perfect bike continues. I am using a bike that I inherited from a best friend at present.
I did write in about the pedal falling off, and remarked that the pedals I have are not the ones in the pictures online. I was just advised to check the tightness every 6 to 8 weeks.
I have Bobbin bicycle helmut wich I love, and also a Bobbin bell, again, which I love.
I got totally seduced by the gorgeous pictures of the bikes on the website. Yes they look lovely, but boy oh boy my Fold doesn't cope with Glasgow roads and varying road surfaces.

We bought a Bobbin bike for my 3 year old for Christmas. The bike is supper!. What is better , however is the company!. I recently noticed that both tires wouldn't hold pressure. The bike has only been used inside as its still a little to big!. I emailed on a Sunday. had a reply first thing on a Monday with a solution on how to fix it FOC. A great company that we will buy from again and again as our children grow.

This was possibly the best purchasing experience I have had.
After looking long and hard for a bike, I settled on one from Veloretti (who are based in Amsterdam), I quickly began having multiple, frustrating issues with them (which has lasted over a month) and they ended up sending me the wrong bike.
I then went to Bobbin and used the online chat function to speak to someone about more details about a specific bike (Hummingbird). The information was really helpful and the person was polite and helpful.
I placed my order on 31st March and was informed it would take 3-5 working days to be delivered via DPD. Then, to my surprise, the bike got delivered on Good Friday only 2 days later!
The process of building it was really easy, with all instructions available online (including if you have any issues and what to do!)
Everything has been more than perfect, I am in love with my new bike and have even had people stop me in the street to say how much they love it!
I would 100% recommend this company to anyone, thank you Bobbin! :D

We are returning customers, having bought the gingersnap balance bike for our daughter, then moving up to the Skylark. I also have the matching adult bike! All 3 bikes are gorgeous and good quality. Customer service is outstanding- a back wheel got nicked off the Skylark and we had issues trying to source and fit a matching replacement wheel. Bobbin’s couldn’t have been more helpful in helping us to source and replace the beautiful cream-coloured tyre to restore it back to its former glory. Really lovely and personal customer service. Pleased to support a fab small independent business.

Enquired about an item which was no longer on their website, and received a reply to say sadly had been discontinued ...however a very helpful lady called Gabby took it upon herself to look into this and managed to find me one they had left and made me a special order so I could order it.

We bought two bikes at the same time (one for adults and one for kids) The bikes are rusty after one year of use (standing in a garden shed).
No help from bobbin.
Never again!

So, now a few years after purchasing. Would I buy a bobbin again? Definitely not. I bought a bike for my daughter. It’s been mostly stored in a shed. It’s rusty everywhere. The protector for the chain got sun damage, so it’s a different colour. Wish I could ad pictures.
Not a quality I would go for again

Delivery was easy and quicker than we'd hoped. The bike itself is beautiful and easy to assemble - and brilliant quality. Worth every penny. Well done.
